© Thumbs Up Production 2010 Halyne with Foal Son Riverdance Halynar TLA Halynov's athletic ability which he passes on to his offspring has already  been demonstrated in the performance arena, both locally and nationally.  Athena AA+ shown below won halter and went on to become Top Ten In  Youth Nationals with her  owner, Christina Flynn! As of  February 1998 Athena AA+   had earned enough points for  Legion of Honor Award and is now well on her way to her next level and that  second + ! Probably the most impressive win is in Show Hack which  incorporates dressage. Legendary Jeff Wonnell trained Hellacious Hal and felt he would make an  extraordinary reining horse. Looks like he'll be competing in the new arabian  Sporthorse classes. Instead, Hollywood wooed Hellacious and he has just  "co-starred" in his first film Spiritual Warrior. Hopefully fame will not go to the boy's head!!   With her amateur riders, WOA Halex has been beating out the "big boys  (trainers)" in her Open Country English Pleasure classes. In 6 "A" shows she  has had 4 firsts, 5 seconds, 3 thirds, 1 fourth, 1 sixth, 1 seventh, and 3  Reserves (the reserves were in the Open Country Pleasure class against the  likes of Jim Lowe, Don Delongpre, Brian Murch, etc., Bob Battaglia was the  judge). Halle's titles are: 1999 Reserve Champion Country English Pleasure  AOTR Rancho CA Show, Pomona, Winner JTR Country English Pleasure and  2nd in Saddleseat Equitation. She is qualified for Regionals in I and II, 1998  Region II Champion - Saddle Seat Equitation - 13 and under and 1998 Region II Top Five - Country English Pleasure - JTR  . In the last show at Burbank she was Reserve Champion - Country English Pleasure - ATR. Watch for her and Linda  Lanotte at US NATIONALS! AND YOUTH NATIONALS for 2002! Above is a picture of Halex with Linda in Country Pleasure  . Hal's get, such as Syzco Kid and Magnifico have done well in Dressage. In  fact, Halyswan took 2nd place at a large open dressage show in San  Francisco. Move over, Warmbloods; Arabian blood is hot enough for us! Pico  Nightrider is presently in training for dressage competitions. Beauty is the added bonus which led Halynov to his own halter  championship and wins. These are just a few of Halynov's get who have won  halter classes. He  passed beauty on to his foals to  win himself Get of Sire  Championship in Santa Barbara with his filly, multiple halter winner Mamma  Mia, and his son Halynar (see picture above), who was subsequently sold to  the Hearst family. Although is is a purebred Arabian stallion, he spends his  weekends in Bakersfield cutting cattle --- watch out, you quarter horses --  and is currently standing at stud at Katy Comacho's in Nipomo CA. Mamma  Mia went on with her half sister Halyne (see picture above) by Halynov to win  Top 10 at Cal-bred Futurity in Santa Barbara. It is rare to have two fillies by the same sire reach Top 10 in this very  competitive class. In fact, they were one of the few shown by amateurs!  Jose Arias took the Championship with yet another Halynov daughter, Bella  Raiza, at Pomona.  Halynov's offspring and semen have been sold and/or shipped to competitors and breeders from coast to coast including:  Claude Brewer in South Carolina, Dr. John and Chris Thomas (stood Ofir and Yatez) in Indiana, race competitor Linda  Hedgpeth in California (see Sales Page), Susan Gibson (founder of Trailblazer Magazine and Race of Champions) in  Oregon, competitor Scott Powell in Utah, Donnis Thran (coordinator of Race of Champions) in California, Carol Hilz in San  Diego, Bev Scott (race trainer and breeder) in Florida, dressage trainer Jennifer Reekers in Indiana, endurance and  Sporthorse breeder Mona Tobias in Arizona, Judy Glynn, hunter trainer and endurance breeder in Illinois, Dr. Megan  Davis, endurance rider and veterinarian in Florida, Julie Schumacher in Michigan, Paul and Sara Kestral in Michigan, and  the list goes on...Thanks Judy, Christina, Carol, Linda, and Lara for your updates and we are hoping that everyone keeps  in touch please log in on our Contact Us page) so that we can continually update this page with new accomplishments! Talk about shows! No, not exactly horse shows --- Hollywood! Halynov’s son, Hellacious Hal was cast in the “lead” in  Spiritual Warrior, and independent film which is generating much buzz. I’m sure Hellacious has a lot to do with the film’s  success.
