Hal's Riverdance

Not only does Riverdance have type and terrific conformation, the boy can really move and loves to jump (even with no jumps)!
Just look at his 4-5 inch overstride, great extension and powerful hind end!

All the Athletic Ability of his Sire TLA Halynov and the Ability to pass it on!

Here comes Halynov's LEGACY! Halynov's son, Hals Riverdance has proven himself with his extraordinary offspring. It is a tribute to Halynov that his size and athletic ability passes on through his offspring. His first two foal crops have demonstrated that Riverdance throws size along with excellent conformation and extraordinary athletic ability. Beauty was an incredible bonus. Why did we name him Riverdance? He was foaled out a month early so his dam had not as yet been moved to the foaling stall. She had him out in pasture and the other mares were crowding her -- each wanting the handsome guy as their own. We had just been called by a boarder, saying a foal was born and went down to investigate; no foal was in sight yet all the horses were looking towards a clump of bushes. In very thick brush, there was an opening in the fence (which had gone unnoticed by us-- very thick brush) and Paschon managed to push her only-hours-old colt through it and into the seasonal creek which, due to high recent rains, resembled more of a white river. She went down after him and, forging against high currents, managed to push him onto an island in the center of the stream. It was there we found the two, exhausted, several minutes later. Mark picked up the foal (thank goodness my husband is 6'5") and carried him in thigh high strong currents up the bank and to safety (I removed the fence) and our friend followed, leading Paschon. Mark then pointed out the obvious -- that the colt would have to be named Riverdance.

After being sent Dancer's video for evaluation as a two year old, Donna Snyder-Smith said Riverdance has ALL the exceptional athletic ability as his sire, and even inquired as to whether I would consider selling him to her client. It was really tempting, as there is no one better qualified to take Riverdance to his top potential than Donna; however, I could not let this exceptional sport horse stallion go, knowing he is my last Halynov son. Not only does he have all the movement of his sire, he also carries the same wonderful willing disposition, exquisite beauty, and sharp as a tack brains -- and now his first two foal crops have demonstrated that he throws these qualities to his offspring.
