We were planning on keeping Hal’s Star. He is such a magnificent combination of his grand-sire Halynov’s conformation
and athletic ability, and of his dam’s, Halter champion Mamma Mia’s, beauty. Add to this the “pop” of his sire Solstar and
he is bound to become a winning show and/or sporthorse. As fate would have it, his younger full brother WOA Halyva
Explosion that was sold to a client, as she had leased Mamma to breed again to Solstar, poked his eye with a wire from
the no-climb that his dam had kicked while giving a warning to another neighboring mare. The foal lost his eye and the
client no longer wanted him; therefore we have two foals from this exceptional cross and are offering Hal’s Star, who
suffered no injury, for sale. He is an exceptional 2 year old.
He has the same athletic ability as his sire and grand-sire -- long reach and tremendous over-stride with no interference
--- and the same incredible hock action. Click on his name below to see his video; click on his grand-sire, sire and dam’s
names to view theirs as well.
Contact Bette on the Contact page or below for additional information on this wonderful 2 year old colt.
