Arabian Sport Horse Stallions

Goodbye, old friend

TLA Halynov

TLA Halynov, our dear friend and family member of the last 12 years and champion arabian sport horse stallion, had a tragic freak accident last year, breaking his radius in four places close to the shoulder. Despite the efforts of two veterinary clinics, there was nothing to be done; our wonderful stallion had to be put down. It was devastating to us all; our daughter tried to explain to a friend of hers when asked why she was so hysterical about a horse. Stacie replied, "He was like my brother---- I grew up with him."

He was truly one of the great arabian stallions, and I do not use that term lightly. Not only did he have extreme hock action, size and extension, but he also consistently passed those qualities onto his offspring. More than that, he had a great heart and a willingness to please and to do his best. He took care of our kids, never taking advantage of our (at that time) young daughter during the shows. Many was the time that I would be out trailriding with him and one of the kid's mares would be in a raging heat. They inevitably managed to wind up right in front of us no matter how many times I'd ask them not to do so--- they really tested his manners and Emily Post herself would have been amazed. On the other side of his gentle nature was his bravado. At one of the big stallion showcases. I sang "Nobody Does It Better" while Mark used all his 6' 5" height and strength to hold onto this big guy who really wanted to strut his stuff for the crowd--- and he did! He was voted the show favorite!

We are only consoled by the fact that we were fortunate enough to acquire on of his best and last sons---

Reference Stallion

The best of the CMK and Polish bloodlines
who we crossed very successfully with our Halynov lines.

SARACENJUMPSTREET

was a combination of Abu Farwa, Comet, and Double *Bask!!
Sadly, we have just lost Jumper. He lived his life to a good age and enjoyed his "work" as a stallion.
He was a gentle soul, a terrific romancer, and a great producer. We shall truly miss him.
