Russian Arabian Mares

 

Our Arabian mares have race pedigrees and were bred to produce the athletic ability required for winning sport horses Most of our foundation mares came from the Van Camp Trust, following the end of a very promising breeding program geared to infuse the best of the Polish and Russian racing/sport bloodlines. Gilbert Van Camp (of Chicken of the Sea Tuna / Pork and Beans fame) traveled throughout Europe and the Ukraine and imported the best of the best from the Polish and Tersk stud farms, as well as from Holland.

Please go to our Russian Arabian History page for a little background on the Russian bloodlines, as most of our mares are a combination of Russian and Polish/Crabbet breeding. The Russians combined the best of the French, Polish, Crabbet and Egyptian breeding programs to produce superior athletes who were also prized for their beauty.

MARE LEASE PROGRAM

If we don't have the horse currently listed here that meets your needs or preferences, you may want to discuss leasing one of our mares so that you can breed a horse as athletic and successful as the ones described on our About Our Arabian Stallion page. We can send you tapes of our fabulous broodmares' previous offspring by Riverdance and/or Halynov. Breeding to Halynov's son Riverdance would be an inexpensive way to get the quality you want without spending a fortune on purchasing mares with the kind of quality, conformation and bloodlines, which ours possess! This program eliminates much of the risk in breeding and insures extraordinary foals. Not only can you view footage of our mares' incredible hock action and freedom of shoulder, but you can also see footage of their offspring's same fluid movement.
